PLEASE REACT ! DON'T JUST SIT !

thiS is nEw !

I'd really want to react on this not because our teacher told us to. But because it's really aggravating in my part hearing and seeing words and actions from these people which are not meant to be this time.

The COMELEC pegged the campaign period for candidates for President, Vice-President, Senators and Party-List groups to February 9, 2010 until May 8, 2010.

Meanwhile, the campaign period for candidates for members of the House of Representatives and elective provincial, city and municipal officials will start March 26, 2010 and will end May 8, 2010.

It is clearly stated above that any act of campaigning on televisions, radios, newspapers, etc is strictly prohibited for all candidates in the 2010 election BEFORE the said dates of official campaign period.

But what this aspirants are presently doing is breaking this rule.

Actually, they still abide with the rule for they didn't directly stated the line "vote for me for this position". Yes they didn't but what do they think of us? Idiots? As if we don't know what they meant with all those commercials on televisions i.e., that they've helped a lot of people during the calamities, that they put up cheaper houses for the poor, that they did something for the environment, and of course, "I promise you this and I promise you that"!

Isn't it irritating?

I understand that they are doing all of those to get the sympathy of the mass so they could gain more votes.

But how could they rule our nation if they can't even follow a simple regulation? It is just very alarming that a lot of us don't get it.

Hope this article would open up the mind of the reader. Make this as a basis in choosing the appropriate man for the position. We need someone who is versatile even in simple things like this.

NOTE:

What's at stake here is your future! =)

  1. good day!

Your topic is good. I really like it. We youths, as the future leaders of our country, should be aware enough of the present status quo. The aspiring politicians are quite good in manipulating there in laws to in favor them. Yet, they forgot that the world is changing. And we Filipinos are changing for good. We are aware enough of what they are doing.

    Great work!

  3. I hate anything about government because I always hear their bad sides and so my whole views 'bout them are that they really don't do well in their jobs. (even on following the rules) They're just after for their personal purposes only. I hardly find desrving leaders especially here in the Philippines.

    thank you for the comment=)
