WOW ! MATH 51 !

thiS is nEw !

The midterm weeks for the A3B3-1 students on their Math 51 class was really very pressured, alarming, and very much controversial. It is not because of the usual reason which is the subject's difficulty but because of the shocking mere fact that 80% of the whole class withdrew from this course which is indeed, very unusual for whoever even the teachers themselves.

Actually, the reason "difficulty of the SUBJECT" is there. It is very obvious but what really made up the mind of the students to withdraw from it is the "TEACHER'S WAY OF GIVING EXAMS".

You might think that they are very ridiculous but that's the fact.

Imagine this, he's trying his best to discourage the students in his class.

How?

Primarily, it came from his very mouth that he will try his best to bring them to the most difficult state of his teaching. He gave them a "beyond their limitations" exams. Maybe he was thinking that because they are IITians, it would just be ok for them.

But excuse me, it's not!

Secondly, he clearly stated that if ever these students felt that they don't already have a good future in this course, the teacher would be wide open to accept withdrawers.

Maybe he didn't thought and expect that huge number of the class remembered it and would do it.

Now that it already happened, he found himself very problematic because of this unusual event.

Lastly, the students themselves already thought that this thing would happened and they are very much prepared to take the risk of withdrawing this subject.

This case scattered all over the CSM building even the Dean and department chairman of Mathematics and all of them felt it very alarming because of the naked truth that only a few are left on this teacher's class.

What's more distressing is that even the COE teachers especially the advisers of the students knew about it and planned to take a big act to solve this problem.

See?

You might be wondering why I knew all about it.

Obviously, I'm one of those students who withdrew.

If you're not contented with my explanations here, you could approach me 'cos I know that even you didn't expect that something like this would happen in the history if IIT.

PLEASE REACT ! DON'T JUST SIT !

thiS is nEw !

I'd really want to react on this not because our teacher told us to. But because it's really aggravating in my part hearing and seeing words and actions from these people which are not meant to be this time.

The COMELEC pegged the campaign period for candidates for President, Vice-President, Senators and Party-List groups to February 9, 2010 until May 8, 2010.

Meanwhile, the campaign period for candidates for members of the House of Representatives and elective provincial, city and municipal officials will start March 26, 2010 and will end May 8, 2010.

It is clearly stated above that any act of campaigning on televisions, radios, newspapers, etc is strictly prohibited for all candidates in the 2010 election BEFORE the said dates of official campaign period.

But what this aspirants are presently doing is breaking this rule.

Actually, they still abide with the rule for they didn't directly stated the line "vote for me for this position". Yes they didn't but what do they think of us? Idiots? As if we don't know what they meant with all those commercials on televisions i.e., that they've helped a lot of people during the calamities, that they put up cheaper houses for the poor, that they did something for the environment, and of course, "I promise you this and I promise you that"!

Isn't it irritating?

I understand that they are doing all of those to get the sympathy of the mass so they could gain more votes.

But how could they rule our nation if they can't even follow a simple regulation? It is just very alarming that a lot of us don't get it.

Hope this article would open up the mind of the reader. Make this as a basis in choosing the appropriate man for the position. We need someone who is versatile even in simple things like this.

NOTE:

What's at stake here is your future! =)

it was TOUGH !

thiS is nEw !

WHAT A WEEK! Hoooh! I had a lot of things to consider and countless things to think. Activities here and assignments there. I need to study this 'cos an exam's waiting out there. Actually, it's very usual in a student's life. We should keep on struggling just to pass our courses and hopefully walk on stage with graduating suits on our body.

One thing that made me busy along the week is our math. Math, math, math!!! Always math. I think I'll always bear this stupid course until I graduate with my Engineering course.

Why math??? Huhuhuh! Because as usual the thing is not that difficult but, very very hard. To the highest level. Hahahah!

There's nothing I can do. I chose to study this. No one forced me to take this anyways. Whatta!!

Term Paper!!!

It also bothered me during the week. We're all ware that it's really hard to comply but it was harder on my part because even a TOPIC for this project is too hard for me to think.

You might be wondering why because a lot of topics are waiting to be discovered out there. But what makes it immense for me is our teacher's criteria. She stated that it should be relevant or related to the course that we currently took up.

That was a big "WHAT?" for me when she announced the thing. Frankly speaking, I definitely don't have any know-how about Mechanical Engineering. What I just know that it tackles all about machines. The end. I'm not really well informed of what are its specific components, lessons, topics, etc.

Well, to find for a topic for this term paper is I guess, the start of my researching work. Honestly, at this moment, I still don't know what to write about. Hahahah! I just kept on thinking but nothing really comes into my mind. How hard!!!

That was all about it. My burdensome week. Hope you enjoyed reading this! =)

WHAT A START !

thiS is nEw !

Well , what a week ! What a good and awful happenings to start the school days of 2010. Full of exhausting and joyful times at MSU-IIT.

It was so bad. Wanna know why? Because a day before the class, I lost my wallet together with my money of course and that money was intended for my allowance for 2 weeks. Imagine that! Where would i get a replacement for that? I would be absent from my class if I don't do a thing! And above all, my mother would definitely scold me if she know the mess.

Honestly, she is the only who could help me to give allowances again. In spite of my fear, I forced myself to gather confidence to tell the truth to her and to my surprise ... she just laughed at me! =)

Hoooooh! What a relief!

Then, I started the week at school. Nothing changed at all. Everything's still the same aside from the new clothes of others maybe bought to them by their "Ninongs" ang "Ninangs" or their parents as well!

On the other hand, the week was also good because once again, I saw my friends and classmates. Since it was still fresh from the holiday's break, of course a lot of them had much of moneys. What a good news for me because it equivalently meant that a lot of blessings would shower me.

"I'll treat you there, I'll treat you here!"

"Let's buy that, let's eat this!"

I really enjoyed those. Hahah!

A lot of happenings during the first week of class of 2010! Some are good and their were bad. But what matters the most is that I made it. It feels like I have been struggling for life for a month!

That's a fact 'cos I'm at IIT!

That's normal !

Hahah ! =)

My HIGH SCHOOL CLASSMATES ! The best thing that had ever happened to me ! It's isn't because of the fact that high school is the best days in the life of every students and classmates is an ingredient for it. It's because these person are like no other. Compared to my elementary and college classmates, I could really say that they are the best !

The happenings pictured on the image above is just an example of what I'm really trying to explain. One thing there was my birthday. November 9,2008. The best celebration that ever happened on my entire life and this was because of them. The picture clearly portrayed our happiness and contentment. Yes because that celebration wasn't a "vongacious" one but as you can see, it wasn't an issue. "As long as we were happy and together, it's already fine," that was on our mind!

As I continue to write this blog, a lot of happy moments of us came into my mind aside from that on the picture. The laughs and thoughts that we shared together made me long for them.

To graduate from high school was everybody's dream but on the other part of our minds was the saddest one because it obviously mean that we will go separate ways. Years from that moment, we will be different people with different lives and different perceptions.

But we know in our hearts that whatever we may be in the future, it would still always good to cherish back the days. The days when we both laugh and cry, and the days when we both shared dreams ! =)

a timE to CELEBRATE !

thiS is nEw !

CHRISTMAS TIME's coming! A season full of happiness and goodness is again would invade the whole universe. And what should everyone care at this time is that how could we share happiness to co-mankind.

What's on my mind when this season comes is really MONEY! Yes I admit that 'cos how on earth would I enjoy the holiday if I don't have the thing? Practically speaking, in this generation wherein every thing's meant for money, for me, there's no space for the terms "goodness is enough to celebrate happily Christmas"! I know it's ridiculous but it's a fact.

What i just wrote doesn't mean that I don't value anymore the true spirit of Christmas. It's just that I'm trying to fit in with the true face of the world nowadays. I know it's bad but I'm just trying to be true.

On the other hand, it's not just money who could make me happy during this time. Of course, my family, friends, and everyone who loves me still took the greatest percentage for my happiness. Money is just part of the criteria. =)

Hope everyone of us could celebrate CHRISTMAS fully in spite of the obstacles and problems in life. Let's just forget everything for a while. To be HAPPY would always be the true meaning of CHRISTMAS. =D
